PCW Insulation Boards

Through the controlled crystallization process of alumnina and silica, polycrystalline mullite (PCW) fibers have high purity and solid structure, making it an excellent material for insulation boards in most demanding heat applications.

Boards available in a variety of temperature grades, thickness, sizes and shapes.

Standard Size: 900mm x 600mm x 20/25/40/50mm

Customization per request.

High Temperature Resistance

Boards can stably withstand temperature at 1550℃, peak up to 1600℃ or higher

Low Thermal Conductivity

PCW boards have very low thermal conductivity, which minimizes heat loss, thus improves energy efficiency in high-temperature process.

Low Thermal Shrinkage

The material maintains its structural integrity and insulating properties even after prolonged exposure to high temperatures, lead to longer service life and reduced cost.

Chemical Stability

Mullite is chemically stable and resistant to most acids and alkailis, making it suitbale for use in harsh chemcial environments.

PCW Bulk Fiber

Instead of formed into sheets, boards and other shapes, PCW fibers can be supplied in loose, bulk form to allow for more flexibility and ease of installation.

Flexibility and Light-weight

With the bulky shape, loose fibers can be easily adjusted and tailored to specific applications, allowing them to fill space of any shape and size, especially hard-to-reach areas.

High Energy Efficiency

Because of the fibrous shape and low density, the bulks could trap more air inside to reduce heat loss.
